At Jones’ we pride ourselves on brining appropriate resistance training to the general public. Resistance training has changed the physiques, and ultimately the lives, of hundreds of our clients and now you can be a part of it in our LIFT and POWER group training sessions.
The world of weight training can be very confusing, often intimidating and the intricacies of form and how to execute movements can leave you with a few more questions than answers. At Jones’ we strip all of this out and deliver small group weight training in LIFT and POWER, meaning we are able to deliver exceptional coaching, properly planned programming and the ability to give you the confidence to weight train.
Everything that we do at Jones’ allows everyone to train side by side regardless of previous experience or current fitness. The beauty of LIFT and POWER is that you will only ever lift what you can. We have everyone performing the same amount of reps just at different loads which creates an amazing and encouraging atmosphere.
POWER is based on lower reps and slightly heavier weights, all the sessions are full body based so you know that you’ll always get an amazing workout.
LIFT is based around higher reps, you can expect to be lifting 10 and above, again under the expert guidance of one of the friendly Jones’ coaches.
Both classes compliment each other perfectly and attending one of each per week will give you a well rounded understanding of weight training and not the mention, the best workout in town!
HIIT training at Jones’ is a key part in the foundations of the results we produce. We offer a wide range of classes designed to get your heart rates up, burning lots of calories in a fun and encouraging environment.
As with everything that we do, all our sessions are designed in a way that allows everyone to train side by side regardless of previous experience or current fitness. We have worked with all shapes, ages, sizes and genders and will provide the best training environment to achieve your goals.
EXERT is our session that never has two the same. You can expect to train the entire body in a range of different exercises. We use cardio equipment, weights, sleds and more. If you want to have a training high, this is the one for you.
A class like no other! MYZONE BURN uses our heart rate monitors to run an fully interactive session that takes your heart through a range of zones and intensities. The beauty of MYZONE is that it levels the playing field, so no matter your ages, size or fitness, when it’s time to get in the RED ZONE everyone will feel exactly the same while all working at different speeds to get there. This truly is a class like no other and one you need to do!
The session that started it all at Jones’. BOOTCAMP is run at Biggleswade Academy in there sports hall which allows for a huge range of sessions and equipment. Forget scary instructors shouting in a muddy field. Jones’ BOOTCAMP is fun, engaging and designed to make you feel amazing!
BIKE & LIFT is another of our combo sessions that combines indoor cycling and weight training. This 45 minute class will see you train on both bits of kit for an equal amount of time. The perfect blend of weight training and cardio efforts.
BIKE & STRIKE is another of our combo sessions that combines hitting a punch bag with indoor cycling. High energy boxing and high energy riding are sure to get your heart rate up and burn a tonne of calories in the process.
One of Jones’ most popular classes STRIKE brings boxing to centre stage. STRIKE is the perfect blend of coaching your boxing skills and working on your fitness. These classes come in all different editions and you will regularly be hitting the bag in different ways. Keep an eye out for Ground and Pound, STRIKE Circuits, Fighters Conditioning, STRIKE THAI and more. Whether you’ve never hit a bag before or are a bit of a Tyson, you’ll get a fantastic workout and learn from one of our expert coaches.
Our junior boxing program ran by head coach Terry. STRIKE ACADEMY teaches our 6-15 year olds the foundations of Boxing. From footwork, head work, pad work, bag work and more. Terry teaches the importance of dicpline and respect in these sessions and it’s not just about hitting the bag.
Indoor cycling is a fantastic way to burn some calories in an electric atmosphere. BIKE at Jones’ is all about the experience. You can guarantee fantastic music, a high energy instructor in an atmosphere second to none. With the lights down low and the music up loud you can forget the world outside and let our coaches encourage you and guide you to a massive calorie burn.
